Road cycling event
Honor the legacy of cycling pioneer Major Taylor on this challenging 63-mile ride with 3,600+ feet of climbing.
Ride for Major Taylor pays tribute to Marshall "Major" Taylor, the trailblazing African American cyclist who broke barriers in professional racing at the turn of the 20th century. This 63-mile route with 3,620 feet of elevation gain offers a meaningful and spirited day on the bike. More than just a ride, this Cascade Bicycle Club event brings the cycling community together to celebrate diversity, inclusion, and the enduring spirit of one of the sport's greatest champions. It's a ride with purpose and plenty of pedaling.
