Four ways to suffer on Vashon, from a 12-mile warm-up to 80 miles and 10,000 feet.A deliberately brutal Vashon Island challenge ride and fundraiser, run as four escalating courses: the Tourist (12 mi / 800 ft), the Weenie (33 mi / 3,600 ft), the Weasel (58 mi / 6,900 ft) and the Idiot (80 mi / 10,000 ft). Rolls out from Jensen Point at 7:00 AM — organizers ask riders to arrive by 6:30. Supported, not timed, with a taco feast at the finish. Net proceeds go to the Vashon Island Rowing Club, Vashon Youth and Family Services, and the Vashon Food Bank.
